Please use this form to purchase tickets for High Holy Day services. Please note that luncheon tickets are not included in the "All Services" ticket price and will need to be selected separately.

Rosh Hashanah services are on the following dates:

  • Erev Rosh Hashanah: October 2 from 7 pm at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Rosh Hashanah day 1: October 3 from 10 am at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Rosh Hashanah Dairy Potluck Luncheon: October 3 following services at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Tashlich at the beach: October 4 at 3 pm at Lifeguard Tower 28 in Santa Monica. 
  • Dinner & Shabbat Shuva (with Rosh Hashanah day 2 text study): October 4 at 5 pm at a private residence. This event is open to BCC members only and registration will be through a separate form.

Yom Kippur Services are on the following dates:

  • Kol Nidrei: October 11 from 7 pm at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Yom Kippur morning: October 12 from 10 am at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Yom Kippur afternoon: October 12 from 3 pm at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Reading of names: October 12 from 5 pm at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Yizkor: October 12 from 5:45 pm at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Ne'ilah: October 12 from 6:30 pm at Temple Akiba in Culver City.
  • Community Break-the-fast: October 12 from 7:30 pm at Temple Akiba in Culver City.

Each year we publish a Yizkor Book on the High Holy Days which contains the names of our deceased loved ones. Each year we open the book to our community and encourage them to include their remembered loved ones. If you would like to add names to BCC's Yizkor book, please click here. The deadline for adding names to the Yizkor book is September 17th.

   All servicesPlease select the number of guest tickets you will be purchasing. Each guest ticket is $36 per service or $120 for all services.
   I am attending and I am bringing a dish for 8 or more people.
   I am attending but not bringing a dish.Please indicate the number of attendees for the luncheon. Cost per person is $25 if you are not bringing a dish that serves a minimum of 8 people. If you are bringing a dish, please choose the "bringing a dish" option for your tickets.
What dishes to bring to the potluck
This potluck will include both vegetarian/dairy and vegan items (no meat or fish please). Please use the following guide to determine what dish to bring to the potluck. 
  • If your last name begins with A - H ---> Bring a side dish and/or appetizer
  • If your last name begins with I - O ---> Bring a salad
  • If your last name begins with P - Z ---> Bring a main dish
Please bring the dish with you to the social hall before services on Rosh Hashanah day one and a volunteer will receive your dish, marking it as either vegetarian or vegan. 
If you are not bringing additional guests, please write "n/a".
Tashlich will take place on Friday, October 4 at 3 PM at Lifeguard Station Tower 28 in Santa Monica, CA. 
Dinner & Shabbat Shuva on Friday, October 4 at 5 pm will be at a private residence. This event is open to BCC members only. If you are interested in attending, please use the form linked here.
